Safety at Home, School, and on the Road
Safety is important everywhere we go. Here are some key rules to follow to stay safe at home, in school, and on the road.
Safety Rules for Staying at Home
- Keep sharp objects out of reach.
- Never play with fire, matches, or lighters.
- Use electrical appliances safely and unplug them when not in use.
- Don’t run indoors, especially on stairs.
- Lock cabinets with cleaning products and medicines.
Safety Rules for School
- Follow the school’s rules to avoid accidents.
- Walk, don’t run, in hallways and classrooms.
- Always listen to your teacher’s instructions during fire drills and emergencies.
- Keep your belongings organized to prevent tripping hazards.
- Do not spill liquids, and if you do, make sure it is mopped.
- Report any unsafe behavior or conditions to a teacher.
Safety Rules for Crossing the Road
- Stop, Look, and Listen before crossing.
