What are the Arms of Government?
There are three main arms of government, and they are:
- Executive Arm: This arm is responsible for putting the laws into action. It includes the President or Prime Minister and their cabinet. They make sure that the laws passed by the Legislative Arm are carried out effectively.
- Legislative Arm: This arm is responsible for making and passing laws. It includes the Parliament or Congress. They discuss and debate proposed laws, and if they agree, they pass them into law.
- Judiciary Arm: This arm is responsible for interpreting and upholding the laws. It includes the courts and judges. They make sure that the laws are applied fairly and that everyone is treated equally under the law.
