Hello, young learners! Welcome back to Primary 1 Christian Religion Studies. In our previous lesson, we learned about God the creator. Today, we’re going to learn about Things God Created.
Objectives
By the end of this lesson, you should be able to:
- Discuss God as the Creator.
- State the things God created on each day.
Things God Created
God is the Creator of all things. He created the heavens and the earth, and everything in them.
What is Creation?
Creation is the act of bringing something into existence from nothing. God created the world out of nothing.
The Days of Creation
God created the world in six days. Here’s what He created each day:
- Day 1: God created light. He separated the light from the darkness.
- Day 2: God created the sky, separating the waters above from the waters below.
- Day 3: God created land, sea, and plants. He caused plants to grow on the land.
- Day 4: God created the sun, moon, and stars. He placed them in the sky to give light to the earth.
- Day 5: God created birds and fish. He filled the waters with fish and the air with birds.
- Day 6: God created animals and human beings. He created all kinds of animals, and He created humans in His image.
- Day 7: God rested from His work of creation.
God’s Creation is Good
God saw that everything He made was good. He was pleased with His creation.
