The Invisible Spirit (The Holy Spirit)
The Holy Spirit is an important part of our faith. It’s a bit like a special helper that God sends to us. But unlike us, the Holy Spirit is invisible, meaning we can’t see it.
What is the Holy Spirit?
The Holy Spirit is part of the Trinity, which means it’s one of the three parts of God: the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God’s presence with us, guiding and helping believers.
Characteristics of the Holy Spirit
There are many amazing things about the Holy Spirit. Some of the main characteristics include:
- All-powerful: The Holy Spirit is very strong and can do anything! It’s like having a super-powerful friend who can help us with anything. The Bible verse that talks about this is Luke 1:35.
- All-knowing: The Holy Spirit knows everything! It’s like having a wise teacher who can answer all our questions.
- Present everywhere: The Holy Spirit is everywhere, all the time! It’s like having a friend who is always there for us, no matter where we are.
Bible Verse – All Powerful
The Bible verse that speaks of the Holy Spirit being all-powerful is Luke 1:35. This verse tells us that the Holy Spirit will come upon Mary and give her the power to have a baby, even though she was not married.
