Air and its uses
What is air?
Air is the invisible stuff all around us that we can’t see but can feel when it moves. It’s like a blanket of gas that surrounds the Earth. We need air to breathe and it helps make things move.
Uses of Air
There are many ways we use air, some of them include:
- To breathe: We breathe in air to get oxygen, which our bodies need to survive.
- To fly kites: Air pushes against the kite, making it fly.
- To blow bubbles: Air fills the bubble solution, creating a bubble.
- To inflate balloons and tyres: Air fills the balloons and tyres, making them round and bouncy.
- To move light objects like leaves and papers: Air can make leaves and papers move and dance.
