The Birth of Jesus – How, Where, and Why He Was Born
Jesus was born in a manger in Bethlehem. His birth was foretold by prophecy. He came to the world because God loves us and he came to save people from sin and offer eternal life through faith (John 3:16).
How Jesus Was Born
Jesus was born in a very humble way. He was born in a stable, a place where animals are kept. His mother, Mary, laid him in a manger, a trough used for feeding animals.
Where Jesus Was Born
Jesus was born in Bethlehem, a small town in Judea. Bethlehem is known as the “City of David” because King David was born there.
Why Jesus Was Born
Jesus was born to save the world from sin. God sent Jesus to Earth to show us how much He loves us. Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins, and by believing in Him, we can have eternal life.
